1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Lunar Jewellers website and mobile application (together, the "Service"), operated by Lunar Jewellers Private Limited. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

The Service is intended solely for registered jewellery businesses, including shop owners, wholesalers, distributors, retailers and manufacturers. You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete business information during registration and to keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Nature of the Service

Lunar Jewellers is a B2B digital catalogue and order-request platform. The Service is not an ecommerce platform — we do not process consumer sales, and we do not process payments for jewellery products between businesses. Order requests submitted through the Service are facilitation tools only; the resulting sale, pricing, delivery and payment terms are agreed directly between the buyer business and the supplier business, outside of the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
• Upload false, misleading, or infringing catalogue content;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or another user's account;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service;
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written consent;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

5. Order Requests & Transactions

Order requests submitted through the Service constitute an expression of interest from a buyer business to a supplier business. Lunar Jewellers is not a party to the resulting transaction and does not guarantee order fulfilment, pricing accuracy, product quality, or delivery timelines. Any disputes arising from a transaction between businesses must be resolved directly between those businesses.

6. Content & Intellectual Property

All Lunar Jewellers branding, software, design and platform content are the exclusive property of Lunar Jewellers Private Limited and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Suppliers retain ownership of the catalogue content they upload but grant Lunar Jewellers a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display and distribute that content within the Service for the purpose of operating the platform.

7. Fees & Subscriptions

Access to certain features of the Service may require a paid subscription plan, the pricing and terms of which will be communicated to you separately during onboarding or via our sales team. Subscription fees, where applicable, are billed in advance and are subject to our Refund Policy. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable prior notice.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services, including Firebase (authentication, cloud storage, notifications) and WhatsApp (order-request messaging). Your use of these integrations is also subject to the respective third party's terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, content or practices of third-party services.

9. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or unlawful activity, or posed a security risk to the Service or other users. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting lunarjewellers@gmail.com.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lunar Jewellers Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service or any transaction facilitated through it. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount, if any, paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lunar Jewellers Private Limited, its officers, employees and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email, and will take effect from the date specified in the notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
